They definitely were on Onana’s back more than Raya, but the Raya saga is much more irrelevant because it’s about playing the better keeper which is somehow a point of discussion now

I know it rained for both teams but I truly think we had a fine approach to the Chelsea game but the rain ruined it. We played ball manipulators and were banking on tight passing combos to beat Chelsea’s setup. Unfortunately we couldn’t get any of that going at all, which basically made Jorginho and Zinchenko useless

We’ve seen the LB (mostly tomi) invert to lcm when we play a double pivot before. Udogie does this quite a lot, as well as sometimes on their right too, so it’s an interesting tweak for sure

Imo Zinchenko is way more effective when he’s deeper, which plays into his strength. The argument though is that we just need anyone who’s secure and a technician there to bring it up a level
