  • We really need Zinchenko in the games where the team camps back

His best games this season were against Sheffield and Burnley

Last year he made the difference in games against Villa and Everton who were really stubborn defences

People take the piss out of Trent when they watch him in big games because his defending is laughable at times but if you watch Lpool in games they have more possession in, more often than not it’s Trent who unlocks the defence

They’re both double edged swords although I’d say Zinchenko isn’t as dangerous as Trent but his defending isn’t as bad, but same principle

It’s good we have that variation with Zinny and Tomiyasu

  • You say you don’t think anyone’s in denial but read the comments in any match rating thread basically calling us all haters and a agenda for rating him low 🤣

There’s a weird Havertz cult on here who will defend anything he does and claim that we just simply don’t see what he does

I’ve been watching the guy for 4 years none of his performances surprise me but for sure Arteta needs to try and make it work which I’m sure he will try

  • Im no Havertz fan but he did give a good through ball to Eddie vs Newcastle just the CB pipped him first so it still counts as 0 but it could easily have won a pen if the defender mistimed it

Not saying Havertz is a good passer he’s not at all but just a example of how stats can be misleading

Like Kai’s aerial duel percentage is good but they never go anywhere useful so his stats say he’s good in the air when he really isn’t

  • This hurt my brain

I’m not even gonna discuss Saka, who’s been quite rightly called out for being off form recently but he he was good this game

This is a clear example of this Havertz delusion hypocrisy… you all say people slander Havertz just because he missed a sitter but then you’ll say Tomiyasu for that one instance in the same breath

Should he have done better? Yes but he had 5 1v1s with Koleosho who is a absolute menace and he had to basically push him over to get past. And even then Tomi has the second lowest score despite dealing with Burnley’s biggest threat. Do I think that means there is a agenda for or against him? No a lot of people actually gave up on Tomi but he’s proven them wrong and Havertz would get the same love if he did too
