They’re going back up because the 1.5T oil issues have been fixed.
What do you think made Toyota fall off for those 5 years?

Why can’t you reply?
Basically anything fun Honda did/does doesn’t make sense from a sales perspective.
Cheese grater looking grille.
Maybe, we don’t know if there will be a bigger engine yet.
And it seems like you’re right. The amazing 10AT was a big reason as to why it got to 60 so quickly. I know this because the 6MT 2.0T was about half a second slower putting it behind the Toyota Camry, however I don’t think it’s quite fair to compare a manual gearbox to an automatic because the Camry was only available with an automatic.
It uhhh… it sucks.
Lol horsepower DOESN’T matter. The previous Camry made 301HP and the previous Accord made 252HP.
The Accord was faster to 60. It may still be the same for this year.
eCVT does not equal CVT.
I believe the 2GR also lives in some Lexus cars too though.
They somehow managed to screw up harder than Honda. Yikes. This makes the new Accord look like the Mona Lisa.
The 2GR is gone from every Toyota. It’s only in some Lexus cars now.
This isn’t a mix cycle refresh. This is the new Camry you’ll be seeing for the next 5 years. Enjoy.
Honda went plain and Toyota went ugly/plain* FTFY.
Oh boy I can’t wait for this to miserably fail!
