Commentators yesterday said that VAR had communicated to the ref that the handball header was on target, and that was the reason why VAR suggested the review. I don’t know where they got that info from, but if they have access to the communications, and that was what was said, the pen decision is another shambles. That header absolutely wasn’t on target.
