We’re not getting a decision to go our way for at least the next decade.

… so business as usual I guess.

It’s the emperor’s new clothes in action. They’re terrified we’ll all suddenly perceive the naked corruption at the heart of the game.

Cartel of incompetent crooks trying to protect their positions and avoid change. We need to increase the volume after this.

The collective owners of the premier league clubs could put a pretty swift end to this if they wanted. They hold the power in this dynamic, not vice versa. League and referees association are trying to set a dangerous precedent here that will ultimately just encourage more bad refereeing and further tip the accountability scale away from match officials. It’s time for the clubs to set aside petty enmities and force change in the VAR system.

Super wise to double down on this, instead of trying to alleviate the pain due to the shitty decisions. Arsenal, Pool, MU and Chelsea are all American owned. Watch them to make another attempt to create super league if this shit is not fixed.

Would the club face punishment if the fans had banners with bruno forearm to jorginhos head saying “no red” or “not nice”, gabriel being pushed in the back “not enough for a foul”, kovacic late tackles “keeping the game balanced”.

Would the club be held responsible if the fans kept the issue in the spotlight?

Hugely concerned about criticism but not about the reasons for the criticism.
