Don’t really understand this. You can’t spend the summer talking about how you’re signing players to create competition for places in every position then say that poor performances won’t get players dropped.

His progressive pass numbers were inflated in the final ten minutes when he could pump the ball long to Havertz and Jesus after City pushed forward to try and get an equaliser.
I fundamentally don’t understand how anyone could have watched Raya’s last 4 games for us and doesn’t see that the guy is a drowning puppy in net.
Ramsdale made mistakes last season, but not at the rate of 2 or 3 a game. He didn’t make that volume of mistakes in the games he played this season.
Toney is a bum. Man’s sitting on his arse because he can’t follow the golden rule.
Is Eddie the best #9 in the world? Not a chance. Has he proven multiple times now that he is a more than serviceable backup, who doesn’t rock the boat when he returns to the bench and clearly has the right attitude and mindset to fulfil his role in the squad? Absolutely.
