I’m not sure if it is the right move. We managed to get Martinelli and Saliba for around £36 million combined because we bought them in early. I don’t think that we would make those kind of signings today.

Our 8s haven’t been good enough this season. If teams are doubling up on our wingers as soon as thry get the ball then our 8s have to do more.

If we are buying Havertz based off of his Leverkusen form in midfield then we should he playing him in the position that he played for them in. He mainly played on the right-side of midfield for Leverkusen.

Havertz played as a RCM and as a right sided 10 at Leverkusen. It’s his natural position.

Jesus played like Lacazette yesterday.

If we are being ruthless then Havertz shouldn’t be starting for us in midfield over Smith Rowe.
