What is the general feeling of Sancho? Can he get back to his best when/if he manages to leave his ghosts behind. I was quite jealous when United signed him as I thought he lookede excellent in Bundesliga.

Over this whole high school drama saga. Let the guy move if that’s what he wants, especially if the manager refuses to play him and move on. Best and probably only chance at a career revival also.

I am a bit torn on that decision. On one hand Sancho deserves to be benched either until his contract runs out or until someone buys him, he doesn’t deserve to play at other club while United pays part of his wages. On other hand, sending him away for half a year may help to sell him in the summer and will remove his negative influence over other players (if there is one).

Yes but we take cash and get him out quickly, no more of this loaning out to pay his wages only for him to do slightly better, come back in and continue or leaving for damn near nothing. We should look to Alexis Sanchez as an example we should not repeat.

Why should united pay his wages while he plays for another club? If he wants a career revival he can take a drop in wages or apologise to the manager.

They wouldn’t be paying all his wages right? So it’s a decrease in costs for them

why would they choose that over selling him or loaning him with full wages paid?

they want rid, getting rid of the person but still paying him doesnt benefit the team whatsoever. For example. I dont know the % theyre being asked to cover but 50% of Sanchos wage is still more than 80% of players in the league.

Why would a potential club pay him what you lot are paying him? Since they won’t, why would Sancho agree to the move to lose money.

So you’ll either pay him the full amount to do nothing, and pay a fraction of it for him to play elsewhere

We have no obligation to pay him to play somewhere else. If he wants to not play any football for two years he is more than welcome to. But if he wants to play football again then he better find a club to pay him or take a pay cut. Because we aren’t paying him money to play for Juventus.

No. We need to have a hard stance on this. He either finds a club that’ll pay or he sits in the reserves. We keep doing this. We keep using the same excuses. There needs to be a point where we take the hit and stop other clubs from taking advantage of us. We need to start rebuilding our reputation on the market.

Headline seems clickbait. They rejected a loan move that would involve them paying a part of his wages. Not sure why they would want to continue to pay his wages beyond January lol.

You know what? Fuck it. He sits in the reserves or he finds a club that’ll pay. About time we started taking the hit on our mistakes and playing hardball in negotiations. No more overpaying for everyone and no more sending expensive players on loan and paying half their wages.

Very good. Why to loan him and pay most of his wages? If his desire is to leave then he must put playing time over money. But all these PL bench warmers, not only at United, have no dignity to put career in front of money. After they are useless in the team economy at the end they want to leave for free so they can negociate a big signing bonus at the next team.

Why should be a problem. From a sporting point of view one wants to play for United the other one want to leave. If you talk about personal life, if a person was legally found not guilty who am i or you to question that without knowing all the facts. Ronaldo was accused of rape and there was no backlash no suspension. And many others. Many PL teams didn’t even suspended players while they were investigated, Liverpool included.

Stop lying. Flanagan was accused of assaulting his girlfriend while at Liverpool and he was cut immediately. Lmao just admit you don’t mind abusers and women beaters as long as they play for your team and keep it at that. Greenwood was never charged because the gf dropped the charges not because he wasn’t guilty of anything. But then again, I would expect someone defending women abusers to try and use the “he wasn’t charged” argument.

            Seriously mate?

Flanagan wasn’t even a starter for Liverpool at the time so they couldn’t even drop him, also Liverpool didn’t even get rid when he was found guilty and continued to pay him for the rest of the season! Do you get things wrong on purpose?

Because he has talent and comes with a price discount, thanks to all the dramas that happened between him and Ten Hag. He can be one of the best winger in the world or just another wasted potential, and it’s totally up to him. He just needs to start acting like an adult and train hard. He would 100% benefit from a change of environment, he did extremely well in Germany and broke several records when he wasn’t even 20.

As long as we keep signing and extending players on stupid wages instead of using incentives and target based salaries, this will keep happening.

Dalot and Mount comes to mind.

There is no solution other than selling everyone over 22 and starting over.

Lets say we try and buy Kavarashalalala. When we ask him how much wages, he gonna point out at rashford’s 350k per week and say “at least that since im better”.

If Sancho wants to move, he has to accept lower wages. Can’t have the cake and eat it. Maybe he will appreciate how well UTD are paying him. Personally I see Players hold their clubs to ransom. They cost millions to sign then have a 5 or 6 year deal and in that time can just be idiots and the club is stuck. Your investment goes up in smoke, and you are tied by a contract which you can’t get out of. I would insist that in any contract if a player is on disciplinary action he goes down to half pay.
