Alpine white is my favorite but I have sapphire black. Black is very hard to keep clean, I would have gone with white or silver if could have found the right car with the specs I wanted

I have a 2019 440i gran coupe, owned for about a year now. The B58 engine is pretty much regarded as BMWs most reliable engine in many years, maybe ever.
It has forged internals and can withstand significantly more HP and torque than the factory has it tuned to. Take care of basic maintenance and you should be completely fine with that engine. Only issue I’ve had is I had to replace my PCV diaphragm, which was about 25 dollars and 20 minutes of work, and it likely only failed on me because I have an engine tune.
Only issue on B58s that I am aware of is the pcv diaphragm getting a hole in it. I replaced mine in 5 minutes for like 20 dollars. Aside from that no issues whatsoever
Blow dryer on hottest setting for like 5 minutes to get the adhesive melty, then use dental floss or fishing line to basically saw off the badge, should take under a minute. Then use goo gone liberally to get the rest of adhesive off
Keep a spare PCV diaphragm in your car, do regular maintenance, thats all
