honestly this is looking more like the truth. they thought they could pretend to be pivoting to EVs while trying to “prove” that they wouldn’t be feasible over ICE vehicles, then when Bolt sales took off they panicked and canceled it, only to bring it back when more federal money was thrown at it.

Good. Normalize regular cars as being EVs. Stop making them look like spaceships.

Don’t even have to wait for the batteries to be out of the cars. V2G tech needs to be legislated into vehicles. Imagine school districts being able to take their electric school buses, that sit unused for large parts of the year, and being able to use them to lower their electric costs by charging their batteries overnight from the grid while electricity is cheap, and then selling the electricity back during the evening when electricity is more expensive.
