My imagination or only the Y had performance wheels and tires? And FSD?
He is correct about the Ioniq.

the only cars available will be TESLAs
No, but it may be the car you want.
Wife loved the eTron until she failed charging on the test drive. She would still rather have the eTton, but has over 100K miles on her Model S. Her dad lives about 1K miles away and she visits 3 times a year, trusting the car and charging is paramount.
How about we stop pussyfooting around and mandate % ZEV sales? Government keeps fossil fuels going with MPG, emissions, etc. so research money goes into ICE. Now they subsidize batteries - which can be hybrid and PHEV.
I wonder if we will see 6 ft or longer adapters for cars with odd port placement.
I don’t mind them advertising ICE. I do mind muddying the truth.
Not gull wing, falcon wing, the doors bend in the middle.
Surprised they did not list 6K lbs as a con.
Definitely sacrificed a lot for luxury.
IMO NA will go NACS, EU will stay CCS for all brands.
I have a friend that still commutes in his dad’s '40 Ford Deluxe, some people like to keep their cars.
I will keep my 2017 EV, not like I need more HP and it does everything very well. Estimates are 400-500K miles on the battery pack before 20% degradation which is fine. I bought extra range.
I keep my cars longer than 10 years and have no qualms recommending buying now. I do have to consider if this is another FUD post.
Simplest to rent a Tesla and pay when you return the car. Very low effort.
Once trains figure out how to do it regen will cut fuel and maintenance costs drastically.
I like it, but it does look expensive.
Or they know what they can get.
Exactly, reduced drive power and regen is why some cars keep warm.
Not too expensive, too problematic.
I use a 6 ft cable, just drape it over the wall box.
Pretty well done.
Hopefully we can get rid of the screens, card readers, etc. EU makes this all work pretty well, but it does require more effort.
Yes, now consider the car should be ready to drive at all times without damage.
Agreed. Now how many cars will be home in the afternoon when AC ramps up? How many will return from a commute with enough charge to help the grid in the evenings?
A winery we frequent and their nearby diner bought two different destination chargers. They sit outdoors, have screens, J1772 and wifi control. Both places replaced with Tesla dumb wall boxes and their problems stopped. No screens, no WiFi authorization.
