For that amount we could have gotten: Maddison, Palmer, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Tonali, and a whole plethora of others for cheaper.

We had an incredible opportunity with that LCM position, seemed like there was endless potential with the right purchase. I back Havertz because Arteta wanted him, but fucking hell, I’m imagining McTominay in there doing the Xhaka role…
One of the things I was really confused by during the Chelsea game was Jesus’ instructions. Every time the Chelsea backline had the ball, the 3 pressing were Martinelli, Ode, Saka, while Jesus was nowhere to be seen. He must have been instructed to fight for the ball in the air when Sanchez inevitably went long, but it was markedly different to last season where I always felt like Jesus was the furthest forward, leading the press.
