@mattblaze@federate.social That right there, is an exceptional shot.
@grickle@mstdn.social The unaware park bench sitter in the distance. That’s me. Until NOW.
@mattblaze@federate.social @todwest@beige.party I think you are correct in how the link is processed per-instance. Not something you would need to debug. Just another side note as we traverse the Mastodoniverse!
@mattblaze@federate.social Yeah, see @todwest@beige.party reply above. That was the fix –> click the link not the ‘preview link’ (which didn’t work). No worries.
@mattblaze@federate.social That’s currently a 404 link.
@grickle@mstdn.social So THAT’s what the ‘sissy bar’ is for. It’s a baker’s rack!

@mrxmrt@zirk.us looks like one of your drawings!
@stefan@stefanbohacek.online A huge first step, but it might be years before this finds its way to the assembly line, as auto manufacturers will not only need to redesign, but retool for the manufacturing process. This would also be the case for suppliers.
@mattblaze@federate.social I’m just now seeing the lineman hanging from the outer frame on the right. Gives a nice reference to the size of the antenna.
@mattblaze@federate.social A ferry for rail cars.
PSA: Don’t scan a QR code if found at a parking meter. Stickers you scan could lead to rogue websites that gather user info and credit card numbers.
@jon@vivaldi.net @Vivaldi@vivaldi.net Laughing at all the people who are appalled by the thought of having a browser in a car, but drive while talking or texting or navigating via their phone.
These people know who they are. They already have a browser where ever they go.
It’s in their pocket or clamped on their dashboard’s phone holder.
Don’t assume that an added browser propagates and increases safety issues. Distracted driver issues have been around for years (alcohol predating technology and still a present danger.) It’s the decision of the driver to push buttons, text, have conversations and look away from the road - not the browser.
I see their arguments only as a #doublestandard
