1 year agoI have bought 2 AMG GTs (GTC and now GTR) and I gotta say this is a good “DAILY” GT. It is very clear to me this is a completely different car than the Gen 1 for many reasons.
Mercedes clearly didn’t sell enough Gen 1 GTs to continue the formula of a mid-front engined, RWD, 2 seater. They want to go after the 911 buyers, which is fine, but this is 100% a different car for a different crowd. I can see guys who want an E/S class coupe, LC500, M4, M8 who will love this.
For the “R” version to get me back on board, it’s gonna take a lot of changes lol.
