Considering buying a 991.1 Carrera 4. Currently I have a 2021 Audi A5 coupe that handles snow like a champ. I would be selling the Audi and using the 991.1 as my daily. I live in the PNW and we get maybe a week or two where I will have to deal with snow and maximum 5 inches. Has anyone here taken their Porsche out into the snow?
Before anyone says anything about salt and rust, Seattle does not use salt as it is harmful to the Puget Sound and the salmon population in the area. Western Washington has been using sand for as long as I can remember.

Tires. Also, all the weight of the engine is on the rear axle which is typically where you need traction with starting from stop.
Just made the switch from my S4 to a Boxster. Echo what others said, right tires and good driving will do it. Clearance biggest issue. We have SUV for those random days in the PNW (we are in Snohomish)

They reversed course on the salt ban after 2008. Alternatives exist, but they still use salt.
My 992 4S is awesome fun in the snow (northern Canada, where winters are long and we get a ton of snow). Get snow tires and you’ll be fine!
I daily my 992 Turbo year round in MN. Like everyone says, snows. I’d have no problem in a RWD 911 with snows either. Michelin Alpins
