I hear a lot about the various EVs on the market and their drivetrain/software/ride quality but I rarely hear about the quality of service that comes post-purchase. Perhaps because it’s not an exciting topic.
Which brand would y’all say has the best or worst reputation in the regard? How would you say Chevy compares to Tesla or Hyundai?
I think this is a tough question. With our Ford(Mach-e) , dealership was excellent with service.
With our VW(ID.4), one dealership was useless and kept pushing me off while another dealership was friendly, quick, and had great service
And with our mini (just the plug in hybrid for now) both dealerships we dealt with were stellar, and each recommend the other if we needed.
Seconding this experience with Mini. I particularly enjoy their attempts at upselling me by always giving me a loaner nicer (sportier) than my own car.
We never get a better model, since we need a 4 door (carseats) they always give us the base model 4 door Cooper.
I guess I’ve been lucky. I drive an SE and the sent me off in a JCW model last time I needed to drop mine off for service.
