Since they seem to have been refreshing everything in their line up from both brands I wonder if they’ll touch up the inside of the Lexus IS.
Confused on 100% hybrid? So no gas? I mean if it’s no gas it’s just an EV? Or gas but the gas powers the battery which runs the engine??
I’m guessing they meant by “all hybrid” is that they won’t offer any trim for the Corolla anymore just gasoline. All Reims will be Hybrid I.e. SE, LE, XSE, etc…
Terrible steering wheel. Can’t believe Toyota is implementing it across all their newer models.
It looks great. Long live sedans!
Clutch
Bummed…I was hoping for a surprise EV Camry announcement.
Oh you mean the solid state EV with a 900 mile range that is coming out in

The front end and interior look good. The back looks like a jowly old man.
Excuse me?
He said the back of the car looks like Grandpa.
Specifically , grandpa at the beach in the 1940’s
🤓
Happy cake day
Did you fart?
He said, the back looks like a jowly old man
You’re excused.
The reverse mullet
I get some ES vibes from the rear which is definitely not a bad thing.
That front end is the downside for me.
I don’t really like the front end either now that I’ve seen clearer pictures of it.
It does lol
As it should.
I think the opposite. The front end looks like an old Hyundai Tiburon but the back looks nice…
I don’t really like the front either now that I’ve seen clearer pictures. And I don’t dislike the rear overall, it’s just that part from the bottom of the wheel well to the top of the rear bumper.
Looks like the Lexus ES

Wow. The end of an era in a way. 2024, the last model year for an all gas Camry.
Really? Sounds like that could be a collectors, but they probably have a shit ton of them or there, but who knows
It won’t be lol. The production numbers are way too high for them to every appreciate really.
First time a Camry hasn’t been offered with a V6 since 1986 as well I believe. Crazy!
Any v 6?
No, hybrid 4 only
Don’t like that bit that blocks the passenger from the gear shifter, the red part. The crown has the same look. Kind of gives me a claustrophobic feeling, if I were to sit in that seat.
Aggressive yet classy , I dig it
232 Horsepower standard meanwhile the top engine Accord (Nearly $40k for the Touring) is only 204 horsepower and probably gets similar MPG too…Toyota did good on this one
For the longest time Honda hybrids made more power than the Camry hybrid, but they never got as good of MPGs as Toyotas did. Toyota’s hybrid powertrain is superior in terms of efficiency.
Lol horsepower DOESN’T matter. The previous Camry made 301HP and the previous Accord made 252HP.
The Accord was faster to 60. It may still be the same for this year.
Not to mention people are sleeping on Honda’s interior design language. It’s done very well. Clean with no wasted space, everything is laid out logically. It’s not “special” but for a mid size sedan (as well as the Civic) it does its job exceedingly well.
I haven’t researched Camry’s to any real extent so I can’t say if its the same. I will say the Camrys exterior is more aggressive and interesting looking.
But to say the Accord went backwards is a bit much.
Bring back the V6 😭.
Never is gong to happen. The government is up the car manufactures to get as high MPG as possible. Meanwhile China and India don’t seem to care about pollution so what is the point?
That was mainly because of the amazing 10 speed in the Accord, but also this is the base powertrain being compared to the top powertrain Accord. I’m sure a Camry GR/TRD will follow later with around 300HP and that will for sure be quicker than the top engine in the current Accord
Maybe, we don’t know if there will be a bigger engine yet.
And it seems like you’re right. The amazing 10AT was a big reason as to why it got to 60 so quickly. I know this because the 6MT 2.0T was about half a second slower putting it behind the Toyota Camry, however I don’t think it’s quite fair to compare a manual gearbox to an automatic because the Camry was only available with an automatic.
Yeah that’s fair, I honestly would still take the 6 speed, it’s a shame Honda discontinued it but I’m sure it didn’t make sense form a sales perspective.
Basically anything fun Honda did/does doesn’t make sense from a sales perspective.
The Kia Forte GT has less power than the Camry but accelerates faster because it is lighter weight
yep that hybrid powertrain will add weight. on paper it’ll look quicker but just like the previous gen 2.0t accord, it beatout the camry with the v6 bigger engine adds weight.
232hp is only for the awd variant. The non awd versions get 225hp
That’s still totally fine with me, not a huge gap
anyone growing up in the 1980’s or drove a 1980’s/ half the 1990s vehicle knows 225 hp will be plenty.
Nah the 2.0T makes like 260. The 1.5t is a pos
2.0T is not in the new Accord
Problem is the anti hybrid people will all go Honda now
My concern is what the LE/SE will cost now that it’s hybrid only I’m fully expecting current SE/LE prices plus a few hundred dollars
Accord went full hybrid too iirc
More Toyotas for us
Front end proportions of a Scion tC. I’m sorry I don’t like it. It doesn’t go well with the squinty headlamp design and you get a weird proportion.
It DOES allow them to heavily close off the front grille for reduced drag & lift. One would assume they’re not at all worried about cooling from underneath.
