    This season feels a bit like deja vu.

    • Last season we tried Eddie as the 9 for a while, he had some good games but overall we were worse with him in front. So played Trossard as a false 9 and looked much better

      Difference is that we practially won all our games with Nketiah up front when Jesus was injured. This year we have not managed that.

        Up until the United game sure. But not afterwards. We lost to Everton, dropped points to Brentford and then lost to City all consecutively with Eddie starting.

      Said this before but it’s become a cycle since 21/22. Eddie has his initial purple patch in his first few games then peters out or gets injured. Once teams have enough sample size to adjust, he gets nullified easily.
