Is it false? Isn’t gunnerblogs brother Ramsdales agent or something like that?

Yeah he is lying. And I don’t think what Ramsdale’s dad said was that bad tbh, what Raya’s agent said is way worse, even if it might be true.

People are so extreme regarding Havertz either declaring that he’s a complete bust or that he’s doing really well, and fighting with each other over these extreme views.

When actually it’s okay to acknowledge he has underperformed, but also okay to acknowledge it is 12 games into the season and we really don’t know if he’ll come right, but seeing as we’ve spent 65 mil on him I really hope he does.

He hasn’t justified his price and his finishing is atrocious. He was bought for final third things and he’s a bit slacking at them. That has to be said.

However, like Arteta said, he’s doing good at everything else. He has held fort in positions/responsibilities people didn’t give him a chance in. Almost half of his minutes have come with the responsibility of offering solidity to the team, instead of primarily offence.

His game Vs Newcastle is how he should have started his career here. That’s the Kai Havertz we had in mind. But we are playing him everywhere after years of playing in a disjointed side.

People are far more overly defensive of him than they are overly critical, poor performances get praised, when an average performance is called average (like vs Newcastle) people call you a “hater”

Yep the DD is just full of people randomly shoehorning how great Havertz is while no one ever just randomly starts shitting on him…

        Come on mate.

It’s not “randomly starting shitting on him” to criticise a poor/average performance.

His only good performances have been him doing Fellaini stuff vs Chelsea and arguably City.

When people criticising him stops being classed as randomly shitting on him or “hate” I’ll stop thinking the overly defensive people have more sway here.

The problem is that fans are not applying the same evaluation metric on the new signing. If Rice can be said to worth the 100mil after 12 games , Havertz can be judged now.

That doesn’t mean they can’t be judged again after another X games.

You’re absolutely allowed to have a critical opinion on a new player if you want.

Just don’t expect people to give you validation for it?

Gabriel Jesus has played just 625 minutes this season. It’s a bit unfortunate for Arsenal because I think they’ve done a good job of managing his minutes.

Given our current injuries, it’s actually a crisis, but I’m glad we’re not too far off the lead.

Thank god Saka and Rice are made of adamantium. Can you imagine if Saka even missed 10% of his games the past three years? I doubt we would even be in CL, let alone sign Rice.

I expect the press to have the same amount of outrage over De Zerbi’s comments like they did for Arteta last week…

    They won’t

Loving De Zerbi giving out about refs, and poch going crazy. Really need all teams to pressure for change and standards for improve. I was watching back the highlights of City/Chelsea against yesterday with Sky commentary. Carragher going on about how City’s first pen was wrong. Just immediately pisses me off and I think ‘Aren’t we suppose to give refs a break and support them? they all make mistakes it’s fine’. Now suddenly Carragher is calling out a bad decision and how VAR can’t give that. PGMOL obviously didn’t call him fast enough to cut it out.

It was so refreshing playing in the CL, I don’t have that fear that we’re going to get fucked by VAR or there will be 20 unnecessary checks for random shit.

Fully deserved. Can’t help but be reminded just how much politics is just a cesspool of snakes, Sunak literally said he had “Full confidence” in her last week, then sacked this morning.

That’s not politics, that’s something common in everything. There’s a reason why it’s called "the dreaded vote of confidence“

Politics is common in everything. The dreaded vote of confidence is just decision makers playing politics before sacking someone
