it’s the best, and i’m not just saying that cos i’m in it
very informative, i had only a vague idea about all the weird eugenics connections, but it’s a bit shocking that it apparently goes back all the way to the “founding” of silicon valley.
the usage of “ai” generated footage leaves a bitter aftertaste though. i sort of get it’s used deliberately to illustrate the weirdness and sloppiness of the whole thing. but i still find it odd for a project to clearly show the myriad ways of how ai is bad, only to use it themselves. not a choice i would have made.
This isn’t the Ghost in the Machine I was thinking of when seeing the title of the post.

So everything that exists must have different names? It’s very common for things of all kinds to have the same name, no matter if they’re at all related or not. And it’s obviously much less of a “problem” when they’re not related and in completely different categories.

What I said was I found the fact that the documentary (the first I am hearing about, by the way) has the same name as a movie that already exists and that’s confusing.
I don’t know why this is hard to understand. If the documentary was named “The Art of the Deal” would that not be a little confusing? Maybe even a little off putting?
