Are you a thin TPU film protector with a thicc case. The films are usually very cheap but can require skills to apply. Usually the shops charge you a lot of money just for the labor cost. The thicc case is… well thicc, e.g. Otterbox.

Or are you a tempered glass / thin case? Tempered glass are expensive up front but they are so easy to install these days. Most came with a tray to help.

Or even tempered glass / thick case for that maximum thiccness?
Or just any protector and naked?
I ask because i’ve been having problems finding a perfect screen for my pixel 9 pro. I want privacy and matte but those only come in TPU. There does exist a tempered glass privacy matte version but that causes problem with the fingerprint sensor.
I have the cheap ass see through case which I bought for 5 bucks abt 4 years ago and which has turned almost completely yellow now. I have no screen protector as my screen is small and hasn’t cracked despite a few attempts.
Spigen tempered glass + Spigen case is the way to go. expensive but completely worth it.
Nothing.
Our phones is impossible to brock. My phone is Motorola E13,and your?
I’m on a hydrogel screen protector with a thick-ish Spigen case. I drop my phone all the time (face up, mostly) and everything still works fine and it’s barely scuffed
I use smartish grip cases for out and about. I like the texture on the edges.
If I’m not going any place I have a jetech slim case with similar (but not as much) texture. It’s really thin so I like it.
Oh screen protector I use inexpensive tempered glass. Never needed a $25 screen protector.
Full on condom for my phone.
For my S4 I had glass, for my S8, 1+ and Pixel I had a matte screen tpu protector. Now my newest pixel has glass again.
Case: Always.
And every phone and tablet I owned from my one plus onwards, I had a vinyl skin on the body. The phone came out basically mint when I was replacing it.
My P10 Pro has a regular glass protector, vinyl skin on the back/sides and a hard plastic case.
I thought about a privacy glass but ultimately didnt care enough for it.Tempered glass and thick case. Specifically one of those cases with interlocking front and back pieces. Makes it look and feel like it was always an integral part of the phone. In fact it is now, after I took out the glue to replace the battery and couldn’t be bothered to put glue back.
Tore out the plastic sheet included with it and stuck a glass protector in its place. Glass doesn’t have to be expensive, I got mine in a 2-pack for just $6. Maybe the more expensive ones have some oleophobic, anti-glare, or anti-scratch, but mine’s held up nicely for over 3 years.
I don’t mind the extra heft at all and would probably have perpetual anxiety if I had to use a phone without a case.
Case but no screen protector. Screens got very good and barely scratch anymore. And after all, my phone is a tool and will be used till it it runs out of security patches. I don’t care. The case I mainly got because the phone is slippery without.
I have a tempered glass screen protector on my pixel 10. I have it wrapped in a dbrand ninja turtle skin. I haven’t used a phone case in at least 8 years.
I got a Spigen thrown in for free when I bought my Samsung s9 plus at Costco years ago. I was very cynical about it at first because I was just a screen protector user prior.
Well that bitch saved my phone from countless - and I just cannot even think of the number - of boo boo’s I had
I now have a Spigen for my newer phones, I am a Spigen customer for life. These things are legit. They somehow protect the front as well and I don’t know how.
Nothing at all, I want my phone as slim as possible.
Dbrand leather skin on the back to give me grip, then one of those ohsnap things superglued to the skin. It’s handy and offsets the camera bump, making it sit nicely. Thin glass protector on the front.
Generally, I go with a fairly robust case. Supcase makes my favorite ones, with poetic being runner-up that’s essentially the same basic idea. I tend to favor the ones with a built in paid plastic protector though. Since the cases have a solid lip on them, it saves me having to fuck with application. Arthritis is a bitch
I hate the glass screen protectors. Naked screen. Single layer medium plasticy case with the mag circle on the back because my last car had the magnetic attachment thing.
used to hate the plastic-y feel, but with tempered glass i feel virtually no difference and the peace of mind of not worrying is worth so much to me… every phone ive ever had ended up shattered lmao
No screen protector but I did have a fairly solid caseology case for my Pixel.
