There was a lot of backlash against Nicole de Boer joining the cast, somewhat understandably, but I think it’s pretty obvious that should be given to Rick Berman, not Nicole, who did a great job considering the circumstances.
They said she was too ugly?! And yes, Nicole was great in the role and I think they did a good job writing for her character too. And fuck Berman.
I just met Ezri yesterday by getting that far in DS9. I guess some men would have a problem with her if they compare her to Terry Fucking Farrell. But, why should we care what some men think?
