    So we agree to:

    1. give them $1000 for every man woman and child in the US

    2. pull our military out of the Middle East

    3. let them sponsor terrorism across the region

And in return, they agree to start negotiations

    ————————

Are you tired of all this winning yet?

      sponsor terrorism across the region

That seems highly subjective; and given whom America supports, Iran my not seem like the worst sponsor in the region.

That being said Hamas sucks too.

More like threw rocks at the bully’s little sister while she was at a concert and had nothing to do with the bully’s actions. Nothing wrong with resistance, but targets matter and in this case Hamas chose poorly and lost the optics advantage they could’ve had on the international stage. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

Hamas didn’t choose poorly per se; they didn’t even know about the festival and the other places they attacked did have IDF bases that seemed to be the main targets. Now that doesn’t excuse the atrocities committed during October 7th, but save for the hostage taking there’s no evidence any of them were planned by Hamas leadership. Their real sin here is allowing these atrocities to happen and not cracking down on them before or after the fact. At the risk of repeating myself, October 7th did include plenty of war crimes, but it was more targeted than people give it credit for. To run with your analogy, it’s like going to throwing rocks at the bully and also tossing some at their little sister because she happened to be there.

Its more like grabbing the little sister because the Bully has your dad, uncle and brother captive in what used to be your basement. So you take her as a bargaining chip up to the treehouse all the while the bully is indiscriminately pelting you with rocks. Hitting you and his own sister multiple times, while actively trying to collapse the treehouse holding you and his sister.

Those are the hostages; I was referring to the other stuff (you know, the rapes and massacres and all that). A lot of what Hamas did on October 7th was pointless and unjustifiable and a lot was legitimate resistance against a colonial oppressor; there’s no reason to ignore one part for the other.

So the agreement could be simpler… It basically says the US (and allies) stop breaking internationallaw, and pay Iran a fuckload of money to rebuild all the stuff they blew up while breaking international law. Iran must agree to continue to abide by the lawful agreements that were in place before the pointless and illegal US military assault.

Imo, paying for reconstruction is the moral thing to do when there is no rational basis for a war. I have no idea whether $300b is the right amount.

Full throated US capitulation, abject contrition, and a stack of blood money from here to the moon is the least we could do after we massacred Iranians for months in a fully improving conflict.

Next, we should send Hegseth, Rubio, and every member of the Joint Chiefs who failed to retire to the Hague

The bit everyone else seems to be missing. Just like with Iraq and Afghanistan, this war is happening on the backs of working class Americans.

Nobody in TrumpWorld is paying a penny. Quite a few of them are cleaning up on Pentagon contracts.

Estimating this fiasco will cost at least $600B, that sits around $2000 per American. That doesn’t even factor in the indirect costs like increased oil prices, decreased trade, and lost jobs. That lot sure is winning!

That’s why if you noticed he has (somewhat) switched to slapping his name all over stuff. First term it was all advertising and business deals. But now he’s trying to tie himself to the 250th anniversary, put his name all over every bill and building. It’s his son’s that are running all the insider trading deals and background economic tricks.

He’s dying and he knows it so he’s trying to smear his stupid name all over before he goes.

His fuck-trash and grand-fuck-trash will reap the rewards. We need to find away to take it all away from them and put them all away for decades. If not prison, then reeducation work camps. We will never get past this unless, ultimately, nobody ends up profitting from either of Trump’s farcical administrations.

So what happens when Israel doesn’t stop? Iran could totally flatten Israel if Israel was abandoned by allies and US would never abandon Israel so seems like US will be pulled back in or have to get rid of Netanyahu right? This seems like it’ll never end omg
