Yeah, mainly don’t add antifreeze to it

Best option: Mount these flip switches above you on an overhead control panel.

Outright rejection of their shit, I won’t buy new smartphones from them. Currently using a dumbphone although the case is breaking and they don’t make this one any more. Nokia could work but costs quite a bit tbh. Getting rid of the phone entirely is tempting.
If I ever buy a smartphone again it will be the cheapest second hand thing I can find. Maybe don’t even take it out the house, it can stay at home like a landline and will be restricted to at most LAN connections only.

How? Nintendo don’t own flying mounts surely. WoW did that ages ago and I am sure other games have as well.

Wouldn’t it be more cost effective to just spend that solar panel, charging circuitry and battery money on extra padding for a blanket.
£5 in 2000… What kind of stuff is in this? Saw it in a shop before and it looked pretty expensive to me. Never really bought magazines.
So what is the point of these frameworks if they make it harder?

It’s easy, just use @media and padding to the left side of the div to put it in the centre for each screen size.

Now from their greed there will be financial incentive for people to use another platform.
Korhaka@sopuli.xyzto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•My dearest Lemmy, what is the appliance you have the most beef with?English2·2 days agoOhh is that the proper name for them, found it on eBay very cheap. Ages ago I was annoyed at tin openers but tried one that should stab through the lid and then lever through. It broke within a day or two, it was rivited together and they failed.
Think I might just buy some, also a more practical size for taking out and cooking over a stove.
Korhaka@sopuli.xyzto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•My dearest Lemmy, what is the appliance you have the most beef with?English1·2 days agoNot when I am done with it. From having to support them before I am so glad I don’t own one.
Oh wow this brings back memories
Not tried anything like that, generally prefer fermented fruits and bee juice.
This is largely false and due to prohibition era propaganda. You would need to be trying very hard to get enough methanol to be dangerous or deliberately add it.
It’s a bit early in the year to forage for sloe berries. I picked so much when they were in season that I had pretty much filled a freezer shelf. Buying enough gin at once for all that would cost pushing 3 figures. Even at Aldi prices. But at least it should be comfortably over a years supply of berries so that I can restock when they are in season again.
Building my stockpile of gin so that I can ideally have bottles in rotation, plus it would let the gin age for longer if I have more than a years supply at once. I mean it is gin, it’s not like you go through bottles of it each night.
I like them, I prefer sandbox games over linear ones. I think it’s the sandbox nature of the game that matters more than open world though.
I guess they can raise costs across the board, though if they don’t all do this then most customers would leave to the competition.
