Why does she have this nice tea set, and he’s drinking from the cup the replicator always gives him?
Because it’s his favourite cup. Why else would he have programmed the replicator to always give it to him?
He should have had some super cheesy one that said World’s Best Captain, maybe made by the kids on Captain Appreciation Day.
Or maybe a Garfield one that said “I Hate Mondays” and every time someone asked him about it, he would give this hearty but forced chuckle, and then explain how Garfield was an earth cartoon character from the 20th century, to some bored staff member who had already heard all about it multiple times, repeating “Yes sir. Very funny sir.”
I suspect the teapot in the bottom pic was added in. I’m having a hard time picturing anywhere on the ship where people sitting across from one another would both have a window showing the stars behind them.
Holy crap, that tea set is super goofy looking. Doesn’t look very ice to actually use.
Of course it’s not ice to use, it’s hot tea.
Ahaha. Oops. Nice. But, yes
I mean, considering they really only ever use it in the pilot episode of TNG, and then for Generations, but I hate that movie so.
He needs one of those Karl Pilkington inventions “the clippable mat” so your saucer stays connected to your cup.
Karl is obviously so far ahead of his time he’s still ahead of his time in the far flung future.
You choose two different episodes for this?
Break out the self-sealing pitchforks!
There isn’t even a ship with a saucer in that one… which the main characters use. We absolutely see a few Galaxy-class.
