    He truly is an idiot’s concept of a genius.

    No one who anctually understands Unix or IP networking would ever craft that as an explanation for this concept.

    That said, it’s an excellent explanation of how a lobotomy helped him embrace his true self.

          i’d nominate Ramanujan as the geniuses’ genius: he had basically no formal education on mathematics, and yet he solved problems that the rest of the world collectively couldn’t crack.

      I think that kid made the youtube channel “Engineering Made Easy”

      It’s a channel about an Indian guy badly explaining physics in order to justify his spiritual beliefs, featuring the best of “Shit Roger Penrose absolutely did not say, not even when talking about Orch-OR”

    The admin team here has decided to quarantine all musk spam to one community, so that people can easily block it, and won’t have to read his takes.

    Use !enough_musk_spam@lemmy.ml for now, or the musk spam communities elsewhere. In the future we can re-evaluate whether to keep any communities for rocket jesus at all.

    This seems like it makes sense on at least 2 levels, either because he’s saying he at some point had the ‘woke mind virus’ and deleted it, or more likely he’s saying this is what people need to do to ‘free’ themselves of the ‘woke mind virus’.

    You don’t have to endorse it to understand it. I don’t really understand Hazel’s confusion.

      The confusion is an affectation they’re putting on because the execution of the joke is just so poor.

      I especially love that he didn’t say where he was running rm -rf and I like to believe it’s from root, so he lobotomized himself.

        No see, he’s saying the woke_mind_virus is protecting him! He can no longer accidentally run the rm command and erase his entire mind. It’s 4d cheese or whatever to tell the woke they are actually correct and this right wing posturing is a plot /s

      To be fair to Musk (🤢), he would need to significantly dumb down proper Linux commands for his target audience. So it’s possible he wrote some pseudo command lines and sprinkled in the most known tech references that even his audience will sort of recognize.
