Xbox games on Windows, and most if not all Microsoft Store apps, have some abstraction layer -I’m not certain of the technical details and actual implementation- that make them virtually unrunnable using Wine.

Note: My experience may be outdated and not reflective of the current state of Wine.

When was the last time an only-CPU supercomputer topped the list? I think it was 10 years ago. For over a decade the list was dominated by hybrid designs where the GPU provides most of the FLOPs.

I expect an uptick every time a major Windows update does something users don’t want. After the uptick some might go back to Windows or switch to Mac. But otherwise it will be a very slow and steady growth for GNU+Linux. I don’t think GNU+Linux will pass 10% desktop OS market share before 2035, it might even take longer.

Hopefully this brings down prices

My thoughts:

1. If it is true that some GCC countries wanted the war on Iran then they have bet a losing bet expecting the US and Israel to further their interests.
2. If it is true that some GCC countries opposed the war then I hope they learn that the US cannot be trusted and won’t act in their interests. Either way, 1 or 2 or both true (GCC has 6 members with competing goals), I hope they distance themselves from the US and Israel.
3. The US not paying for the damages could mean this is not the Suez Moment we were hoping for and the US won’t be shy to pursue other losing wars if it knows someone else will pay for it. The US is doing it to Europe in Ukraine.
4. Iran being paid reparations means another war with it is far less likely but not improbable given Israel’s expansionst goals.

Looking forward for a global release. Perhaps alongside the MateBook Fold 2…

I use a ReactOS vm to play Command and Conquer Red Alert. I haven’t tried the games you mentioned but they should work if they work in Wine.

The Bestune Pony/Mini sells for less than that, half as much in its home market. Don’t they get it in Mexico?

What would Europe be without racism and xenophobia? I for one I’m glad that Chinese alternatives to European products exist, being better and cheaper is a plus too.
