It’s ok saying we’re going to click when we win but when we drop points we have to ask why haven’t we clicked yet? We look genuinely awful this season
If you play 11 games and lose one there’s no way you’re awful. We haven’t been fluid but we’re very hard to beat, it’s much better than the other way around. It reminds me of how city starts seasons, there’s no doubt it will come.
If this season includes only the games in which we’ve looked awful, then yes, we look awful this season.
We’ve only looked good in an attacking sense against PSV. Solid performances against Everton, Bournemouth, palace and city otherwise we’ve been dogshit
If that’s the way you see it then that’s the way you see it.
So to confirm, we have the same number of points as the league leaders, we’ve played more of the ‘big 6’ than any other team, we’ve been unbeaten in the league (in the same 9 games we picked up 2 defeats in last season), we haven’t played any of the promoted sides, but this equates to ‘genuinely awful’.
I know we live in an age where we have to take optics over stats, but putting subjective opinion down as fact is how you get mental takes like this.
