Confirmed Israel attacked Iran
💠Israeli Defense Minister, Israel Katz, announced that the Israeli government has carried out a preemptive strike against Iran “to eliminate threats against the State of Israel.”
Katz declared a special state of emergency across the country and warned that missile and drone attacks against Israel and its civilian population are expected soon.
Instructions from the Home Front Command must be followed, and people should remain in protected locations.

US is running out of interceptors while by all accounts Iran can churn out a thousand shaheds in a year (designed to be very cheap). A thaad salvo uses up 8 to 12 rockets iirc and Lockheed Martin can only deliver 50 a year. They might deplete the EU arsenal as well but I don’t think we have that many interceptors, maybe patriot batteries? But stuff like thaad is US only. Oh and with Chinese export ban on rare earths that 50 number might be even lower.
If Iran can hold out and continue eventually the US will be sitting ducks, but that’s a huge if of course. I might be more worried about what happens afterwards when they stop firing.
Daily!? That’s 146000 a year! Are you sure of that number?
It’s a very, very tentative number but gives a ballpark reference https://defencesecurityasia.com/en/iran-shahed-136-80000-drones-mass-uav-warfare/
They also sell them abroad so it makes sense they can produce a bunch. It’s basically mostly civilian tech designed to be as cheap as possible, like the optics are pretty basic and the motor makes this distinct sound because it’s a simple four-cylinder, two-stroke piston engine (in comparison the average 90s car used a four-stroke, four or six-cylinder engine)
PS: The US’s answer to the Shahed, their LUCAS (which is just copied from the shahed), costs the army 35k$ a piece lol
Look at the amount of Geran drones Russia launches every week. And they produce more than they launch. Iran likely has similar capabilities. That is not an unrealistic number.
That would be a tiny number. Russia produces more than that in a week, and almost certainly so does Iran.
That’s much more realistic.
