How would you seal that to prevent the gearbox oil from leaking out and dirt getting in?

That’s not misleading why would the average customer care about charging rates? Range gained per minute is the charging speed most customers will care about.
Depend on if it was a forced recall or not. If the manufacturer does a voluntary recall I’d take that as standing by their product.
Considering how expensive these things are to design and build that’s actually kind of reasonable compared to collectible classic cars.
I kinda like OOS test as well but realistically I am going to charge for how long my car tells me is best so that should also be a test case on top of what OOS and Edmunds are doing.
Tariffs and subsidies in China and the US are getting ridiculous. The EU needs to get on the same level.
Depends on the cells you use but aside from fast charging and reduced drive power that’s also possible without any preconditioning unless we are talking extreme temperatures below -20C
Storing cells at freezing temperatures does not cause lasting damage.
Have you tried a new BMW or any premium brand aside from Lexus?
Lexus using older tech is kinda their thing. If you want the best reliability in a luxury car that is how they do it. If you want cutting edge tech try BMW or Mercedes.
That doesn’t even work reliably for grease and much less relative movement so I’m skeptical about thin gear oil.
