How many Premier League midfielders are dead?

Gary Speed, Marc-Vivien Foé, Whittingham, Atsu, Liam Miller, Tiote, Diop.

Some of them were very excellent footballers but I don’t think they’d ever be in the question for the greatest ever Premier League midfielder.

Seems strange to put in the question as well, as if they’d be discounted if they were the greatest ever.

I’m sure he does but he’s not insecure about his intelligence so he doesn’t feel the need to talk about non-football stuff.

I don’t see how 14 goals in 8 is “under the radar”. The stats are literally there and show that he’s having a great season.

“Under the radar” means players who are having great seasons in a quiet way. Like being consistently good without stealing the headlines.

If it’s half as arbitrary and senseless as some of the writing in this post, then we should definitely get rid of it.

I’m a Liverpool fan and although I think the '80s Liverpool teams were quite good, English football in general was piss poor during that time.
