Try access it using mobile data.
Local will work because it is your network. Outside of that depends on ISP.

It’s useful for local transfer between computer like NAS. You do need to upgrade other equipment to 10G as well.
Did you setup router 2 as Access Point mode and plug the cable from router 1 to LAN port, not WAN port router 2?
4K streaming is around 25Mbps, so x2 = 50Mbps, still doable.
I would connect it to main router first, in case something happen to MR2200AC, wired device still have internet.
probably can install dd-wrt but it is really old, only support wifi 802.11g 54Mbps.
iits probably either your router ip or your ISP dns. How did you set the google dns?
yes, set the old router as access point or if dont have that, disable the DHCP server.
Should be fine, just make sure plug to LAN and not WAN port, set the Asus as Access Point. Set the same SSID and password.
having ethernet cable into all devices would be even, better speed and more reliable. you just need to use same SSID and password, make sure different channel.
You can replace the rj45 jack if that is the issue but do need the tool.
just curious, do you have the tool to terminate the fiber optic?
yes. just make sure its modem -> router -> switch -> pc
what dns address do you get if you type ipconfig /all
in command prompt?
you guys could get connected by using Hamachi, its free up to 5 computer.
or use tailscale https://tailscale.com/kb/1137/minecraft/
Yes, a 4 port unmanaged gigabit switch will work for that but do make sure the port on that wall is active/connected first.
Orange that mean its connected at 100 Mbps. Try reconnect or use other cable, could be broken.
That is weird, Arris G34 specs have 4 gigabit port
Can you pull cable to there?
Else you would need to consider point to point system.
