I hope it’s retired in Boston. It’s a situation where his chances go drastically up if he makes the Hall of Fame. If he doesnt then I dont think he has a shot.

They already said that they are retiring AD’s jersey. Their standard is being in the Hall of Fame (with presumably some of your Hall of Fame work on the Lakers). AD is already a solidified Hall of Famer, a NBA 75 Team Member, and won a ring with AD as a second option.
