Macbook (with Apple Silicon), if you can take its very high pricepoint.
If you want to expend less, buy Thinkpads, depending on the model, you can settle for cheaper just-right spec (RAM, SSD) for your needs right now and scale its capacity/performance in the future by upgrading RAM and SSD. That’s the time when those RAM and SSD are actually cheaper compared to their pricing when you buy now, you will never be able to do this with a Macbook.
I’d prefer Android over Windows for example all your workflow can be easily be done in a 350USD Android tablet (I have a Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021) with keyboard folio case and pen. I’m still the type of student that will be better when I write my notes instead of typing it, I use the Concepts for that. For video editing, I’m a noob at this but I find Capcut to be very user-friendly. There are also lots of very good photo editors in Android but I can’t specify one since its not part of my workflow. All my documents, spreadsheets, and presentations can be done using Google Office apps that syncs to Google Cloud.
I’m not against you on using a laptop for your use-cases, In fact you can buy the two, a tablet and a laptop but no one knew how much laptop and tablet pricing where you’re at. I work using my laptop (programming) while I draw and take note using my tablet.
I don’t but I’m currently searching and filtered it down to Yoobao EN1 Gen 2. It has 65W PD (20v) for power efficiency since my laptop can charge at 65W but when I want to game at 90 - 100% load it has a 220V 150W AC output. There are higher-capacity powerbanks out there but this powerbank is the only one that has cylindrical cells. The higher density powerbanks use Lipo pouch cells which has the issue of swelling over continued use over time.
TDP and thermals. LG gram has lower TDP and weaker thermals which means that the processor will choose to drop clockspeed (throttle) during long sustained loads.
It helps which app you mainly use.
