They pick what they want to show, brush over the other decisions that should be explained, rehearse what they are going to say and know there will be no push back from Owen so they can get away with saying any old bollocks to try and cover for the mistakes

It’s at the point where it doesn’t matter anymore, referees are too scared to give decisions on the pitch in case they get them wrong and the var is too scared to overrule him because they don’t want to be re refereeing the game
