Not sure one example is representative (sure not, but alas) - anyone watching Louis Rossman (MacBook repair expert) knows he left NY with disgust, and now runs his business in another state

With Israeli obsession with children and family, it is extremely hard for LGBT, or any other couples to adopt - they have to prove they have the means to raise up these kids - both material and psychological.
And even with medicine - not sure about cancer treatments, but headaches cured fine with generic ibuprofen vs more expensive Nurofen™ or similar
How come that whole continent, which is the birthplace of homo sapiens, can’t feed it’s population?
While on the other side it can come to absurd like this:
Hen Mazzig, an ex-IDF soldier
in one case, a professor asked me if I knew how many Palestinians have been raped by IDF forces. I answered that as far as I knew, none. She triumphantly responded that I was right, because, she said, “You IDF soldiers don’t rape Palestinians because Israelis are so racist and disgusted by them that you won’t touch them.”
And in Israeli academy (!)
According to Dr. Gurevitch, This was a very serious paper that asked two important questions: Is the relative lack of IDF rapes a noteworthy phenomenon, and if so, why is it that there are so few IDF rapes when in similar situations around the world, where rape is so much more common? The abstract of the paper, authored by doctoral candidate Nitzan, could not find instances of rapes of Palestinian women by the IDF it sought to find, so it was decided that the paper show that “the lack of organized military rape is an alternate way of realizing [particular] political goals.” It continues, “In the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, it can be seen that the lack of military rape merely strengthens the ethnic boundaries and clarifies the inter-ethnic differences – just as organized military rape would have done.” Ergo, Nitzan could not find any cases of rape by IDF soldiers of Palestinian women even though Palestinian media constantly accuses Israeli soldiers of this. Apparently distraught over such findings, Nitzan had to twist her thesis to attribute the lack of such rapes to a governmental program instilling in IDF soldiers that the Arab women are sub-human or inferior.
I wonder if repeating patterns could trigger epilepsy or tripophobia in sensitive people
There should be some kind of “accountability score” for politicians, managed by an independent body, that will track all their promises and follow up with whether they, at least tried, to fulfill them. So that voters will be able to refer to it, before they reelect the same do-nothing again and again…
How long until western media will tell that gunmen were under stress of Israel war in Gaza strip?
Looks like another case of FAFO. She is lucky to survive the harsh lesson, and changed her rhetoric 180°
Adjusted for inflation Palestine had been given 71 billion USD in international aid over the years, so saying “Palestine has been starved of money” is not an understatement but a blatant lie.
If you’d say Palestinian people starved of money I’d probably agree: as their corrupt leaders stole most of those funds, and used the rest to fund and enable terror activities as well as children indoctrination in hatred
For strangers arguing on internet it’s a mind game. For some IDF soldiers it’s a messed up reality, and their daily struggle
They are zionist communities. They’re intentionally as far outward as they can be
Incorrect, they usually are far away from big cities, because their original focus and intention was on agriculture and land development
And Israel is planning on pushing those settlements into Gaza soon
Several days ago, Benjamin Netaniyahu was asked this question directly, and replied with strict NO. Which was surprising, considering that politicians like him, never tell things directly and find ways to speak for minutes and hours without saying anything (kinda like upper management in tech)… Of course, we’ll have to see whether it’s truth.
Hamas Official Ayman Shanaa: The Zionists Are Carrying Out A ‘Blatant Attack On Civilians’ – They Must Be Stopped; On October 7 We Exercised Our ‘Legitimate Right’ To Liberate Our Land And We Are Willing To Pay The Price
You’re confusing kibbutzes with illegal settlements in the West bank. Kibbutz is an attempt at socialist community and the ones attacked on Oct-7th are inside Israel’s borders. All Jewish settlements in Gaza strip were dismantled in 2005 during unilateral disengagement by Israel.
Sadly, it goes both ways: This woman devoted her life to try and bring peace to this land, but it didn’t help her on Oct-7th https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2023/11/13/canada-peace-activist-vivian-silver-dead-hamas/
Silver, well known in Israel for her peace activism, was among at least 80 people killed during Hamas militants’ attack on the Beeri Kibbutz
Silver moved from Winnipeg to Israel in 1974 and was a longtime member of Women Wage Peace and other organizations campaigning for peace in the region.
She was dedicated to denouncing Israel’s treatment of Palestinians; she had fought against the blockade of Gaza, in place since 2007, and would pick up Gazan children at the border to drive them to Israeli hospitals.
From AP news article published in 2021:
The U.S. has spent at least $5.5 million in Gaza this year on cash assistance and health care, in addition to contributing $90 million to UNRWA operations in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
Imagine how much good things can be done with such funds, if it isn’t used for strengthening military capabilities of Hamas. Infra projects, development of industry and farming and what not. Some will say “but it’s a tiny piece of land with no resources” - well we could see IT industry rise there, as it doesn’t need much more than computers and internet access. Did this happen? Open the news to see.
They should investigate international aid to Palestinians in Gaza and West bank as well.
It’s good you’re documenting these experiences, as in about a year, if you happen to get on a Windows machinery at work, or relatives house, it will feel very alien and sluggish to you…
Do they suggest that land owner should feel ok if someone opens a tent on their property and decides to live there from now on? Normally, I guess you’d want your local law enforcement remove such unwanted guests, but looks like that isn’t enough in this area…
