I think he’s pretty arrogant and it’s clear he’s in over his head. His insistence on buying Eredivisie players and expecting them to waltz into the most competitive league in the world is evidence of that. Antony might be the worst signing in PL history. That’s no one’s fault but ETH’s.

Every fanbase in the league that isn’t of a United persuasion audibly laughed out loud when Fernandes was announced as club captain. He’s a talented footballer but he is the biggest whiner in all of Europe, has zero ability to persevere in the face of adversity as evidenced by him quitting on the pitch (on multiple occasions) when United are down big, and goes to ground like he’s been shot at the slightest bit of opposition contact. Rashford or Varane would be a far better choice for captain of Manchester United.
