So if I remember correctly, in the NFL there’s a centralized video replay command center in New York that can and does get involved in replay decisions from games around the country. This team is staffed with replay experts, and the idea is to keep things objective and consistent across all the games.

I think that the NFL was struggling with having local teams only at first, and adopted the centralized concept from the NHL, which has a center in Toronto.

I wonder if that’s what Prem VAR needs.
