Can you imagine talking to someone with two cameras pointing at you, at all times? Fucking annoying. I’d punch them.
There are different types of wonder and beauty. Mostly for scientists though, they find things interesting and that’s fine. But, it’s different than the way an artist would portray it, or a poet.
Science only views the world through the Cartesian division of subjects and objects and makes the world a calculable resource of objects that capitalism can exploit. The two work together. If we still saw the mystery and divine in nature, maybe we wouldn’t disrespect it so much.

3·17 days agoYeah when I was robbed in Paris, the police did nothing.
I caught a pickpocket in Madrid with his hand in my girlfriend’s purse. He was directly behind us on the escalator. We just kind of were like “hey not cool,” then had an awkward escalator ride. We were late for a flight, so didn’t really have time to do much anyway.
I have had stuff stolen in Paris. Mostly, you have no idea it happened until they’re long gone.
Won’t someone think of these POOR AI companies!
