Never have never will. Pretty much always easier to just do whatever it is I want myself. My feelings are validated by my dad constantly struggling with his Alexa that he insists on using for everything.

Haven’t heard of any policy barring people over 30 from buying a 3 series
Definitely Turbo/Turbo S if it isn’t touching a track.
Was the service warning reset?
The engineers that made the engine know what’s best for it
H90 already in development omg
No difference in fuel consumption is worth losing the glorious almighty supreme B58 over
If a $1000+ repair bill once or twice a year doesn’t sound like a huge issue then it’s probably fine, or if you aren’t keeping it very long. If putting as little money as possible into it is the goal no luxury car is a good idea.
If you can test drive them, then do that and you’ll have a better idea than what we can give. I don’t know how the 240i is personally but if I wanted sportier and less comfort and practicality I’d get that. I’m a tall and wide dude so the 2 series is just too small for me. Even the 3 series is pushing it for me in shoulder room.
Auto with paddles. I’ve done some commutes using only my paddles and even that gets annoying pretty quick so pure manual definitely isn’t for me. The culture around “manual good auto bad” even when modern autos perform better than manuals certainly doesn’t make a manual any more appealing. I don’t doubt a pure manual can be more fun and I know it isn’t about performance but the culture is just toxic and cringe sometimes.
I’m at about 77k miles and going strong. Radiator and coolant reservoir have been my only reliability issues. Had those both go out around the same time but replaced under warranty. I’ve also had a DRL and my grill shutters go bad, but I coded my DRL to run brighter which probably caused it to burn out, and the shutters are an issue specific to 2018 models and is warrantied for 15 years/150k miles.
The general consensus around it is that it’s an awful value for the insane amount of money it costs. Plus that trim in particular just looks horrible not that the XM looks good in any trim.
