He’s skilful, technically excellent and has a good eye for a pass, as well as working extremely hard defensively. On this seasons form there’s not many wingers in the world I’d swap him for.
I think it’s strange because Sterling has always performed for England, and that’s what Southgate apparently bases his squads on as opposed to club form.

Aye 30 odd million on Hall seems a strange one given he doesn’t quite look ready for first team football. Gordon and Livramento have looked good so far but realistically Livramento will just be a bench player unless Tripps gets injured and it was a big portion of our budget to spend on backup, same goes for Barnes really, he isn’t getting in over Gordon.
I think he’s quite a good player but don’t see where he’ll fit in at Newcastle. Surely that money could be spent better elsewhere.
