Hey Lads was having a heated discussion with my mates over who u would rather have on your team, me being a newcastle fan am delighted in having gordon and think he has been exceptional for newcastle at the start of the season and really had a breakthrough u21’s euros with england and was arguably their best player in the tournament. However haven’t seen enough of cole palmer to really intrigue me is a great talent for sure and my friends were adamant he is better than gordon but want to get second opinions on it.
Do people here actually watch football? How can anyone who’s watched Gordon this season say pace is his only attribute? He’s skilful, technically excellent and has a good eye for a pass, as well as working extremely hard defensively. On this seasons form there’s not many wingers in the world I’d swap him for.
He’s been the one constant threat we’ve had this season through all the injuries. Brilliant player.

Yes Gordon has pace , but he’s really really good on the ball , gets into the right positions and can put a dangerous through ball in when needed. As far as the comparison goes , both r young and talented , but it’s too early to draw a comparison between them
If he took penalties like Palmer did he could be on 8 or 9 goals
