Very user friendly, in fact, its the best gateway into linux. Ive ways said, the real game with steam deck is getting things to run. If you have problems, most likely youll find a youtube video to help solve it.
I utilize my steam deck for very specific games like indie titles and emulation but i leave my pc for the heavy AAA games. Steam deck got me into i die boomer shooters like Prodeus and Sprawl, but recently ive been playing the No More Heroes franchise which is 30fps on switch but 60fps on the steam deck.
Which is the case for most pc games, unless youre Final Fantasy VII Remake.
its a net positive for all. its that limited edition though. but in the end, there always be a better console as long as people keeps buying them.
Youre better off getting the web browser from decky. Otherwise add mozilla firefox as a non steam game and that should work. A lot of that stuff is just linking the executable to steam and using steam as the launcher.
