Damn, when I thought this car couldn’t get any cooler it proves me wrong.

Had a full tan loaner, good god that is blinding in the Southern California midday sun.
I wonder if these Chinese makers will be the Anker and Eufy of the car world.
For Porsche at least, you can find some knowledge being dropped by boomers+ on the car forums like Macanforum and 718forum… lots of DIY and specs.
It seems like a big number the car forums have all consolidated around a single platform though. And it’s kind of a usability mess on the home page, I can’t fucking deal with it and they have way way too many subforums which kill discussion and seem like ghost towns.
Completely different engine in the US at least. It’s a Porsche designed V6 pre-2019 that is rev happy, has a great noise with sport exhaust, and has the timing cover oil leak issue. Expensive fix to get done correctly.
2019+ used an Audi derived S4 engine that is a bit less character but can be chipped for some bigger power numbers. I believe these don’t have major issues. This gen also has the big screen infotainment.
PPF with 49k miles already on it is an interesting choice. Was PDK service and spark plugs done recently? Those are some pricey services on a mid engine car.
Personally, I would drop 10-15k more for a CPO GTS.
I don’t understand any of this premise. You can buy hundreds of Porsches for sale across the price spectrum new or used.
