If people wish to call out Havertz for being bang average, yet again, and expecting far better from our second highest paid player, then they are well within their rights. Mercenaries need to earn respect, and if you feel he isn’t being respected, then there’s a good reason for that. Calling him out won’t make him worse, certainly improved Xhakas game once he got on top of his critics, but making excuses for him definitely won’t make him better!
