Mix of the two I believe. They are a tad uneven, but it’s not as bad as it looks in the photo.

The others are fine. All within a mm or so. I’m realizing I should have posted more than one. Truthfully, I just reached in to the box and grabbed one when I snapped this.
39,500. Four years old, but it’s in the northeast.
That’s the only thing I’m noticing. They are slightly uneven. I did service the slide pins and ended up replacing a few of them as well.
About ten years ago, I had a Monro Muffler fail my state inspection for bad brake lines. I had replaced them the day prior. When I called them out on it, they told me that they mixed my ticket up and it was a bad wheel bearing, one of the two that I had replaced the day before. They still failed me because they just could. I drove my car across the street to a Midas and they passed me.
Man, I don’t miss having to do the frequent tedious repairs like I had to do on that car.
The question I asked was rhetorical. I know that they weren’t as bad as they said. I only wish I had checked for myself before I bought the parts. Live and learn.
They said all four pairs were under 3mm.
That’s a front pad. Apparently they looked at all of them and said they’re all bad and need to be replaced immediately.
I sent an email to the president and got a “I’ll pass this to the right guy” response. I did follow that up with a google review.
Here’s the thing. I was ready to move on, but they sent me a second or third reminder last night that they wanted to hear about my experience, so I went through their system. When I got to the end where it asked me for my comments, the system kicked me out and said I completed it.
When I was kicking the tires on a Tundra four months ago, I did the same thing, but had a phenomenal experience. I noticed the system seemed to care a little more about what I had to say, and asked for permission to link it to google.
It kinda hurt to have to delete my old review, so I made sure to mention that I still believe their sales department deserves all the praise in the world, but that I couldn’t excuse this branch of their business.
