I have an original 2017 Switch and I have never missed the OLED screen. It is just fine for me for a handheld and 200 € price different is just a lot. With 200 € I could also get the dock so I can stream to it from my PC.

Also I hear that the 3.5 update made the LCD much better.

But I’m not yet 100% on it. I’m not even 100% on getting the Steam Deck even as my Switch covers my on-the-go needs very well and I could feel overwhelmed with another handlheld.

It is so nice to just have a product available for purchase when you feel like it. It removes a lot of stress and bad purchase decisions due to anxiety or FOMO. Well done Valve.

Even if you don’t own it as myself, the reduced price on the LCD makes me think getting that model. The entry price for OLED is 569 € which is a lot.
