Both the LED one and OLED one are amazing. While LED is good for the cost, OLED has nice improvements.
Nine Parchments, Slay the Spire, Brotato, Path of Exile, Trine
I was playing Brotato this weekend it is so fun and light. My SD can run it for hours.
I had a blast playing Brotatos this weekend. It was awasome. I also suggest Nine Parchments. That is a hidden gem from creators of Trine and while we mentioned Trine I can recommend that game as well.
The OLED version looks like on fire, I wish I had it but it is not avaliable on my country and I already bought mine. I am 35 and while I have a PC, I don’t have time to play. I also bought BG3 and I think it is great but I can’t play it all due to being busy. SD plays BG3 decently well but let me say I won’t be playing much BG3 there. It just feels better to play on PC for me although I must admit SD has nice QOL settings for controller. However I recently bought Brotatos and it is so fun to play on a handheld device. Just sit on your couch and play all of these little-fun games that could be played well on controller. While you can surely connect a controller to pc, stream it on your tv and play on your couch, I think its much better to just grab SD, play those fast and fun games and get a lot of value for your time.
There is a section in steam that says runs great on steam deck. Also people suggest checking Protondb.com . I personally find games that works well with controller to play well in SD.
Saving won’t hurt but I just pause my games and put the device in sleep mode. That way when I open it, everything is ready. I never had any issues not even with AAA games. The device works perfectly as soon as I open it as if it wasn’t sleeping.
