I tried turning it off but then I can’t launch apps with it anymore. You’d think there’d be an option to spend the few thousand clock cycles to match against filenames in a single folder but nope!

you pay a significant premium for a given size going to 2242, and even more so for 2230. I would be interested in getting a 2TB drive for my steam deck which limits me to 2230, but such a drive costs nearly $200 whereas 2280 2TB drives can be had under $70 today.
