The whole shit would not have happened if the US wasn’t keeping the Israeli terror state alive and armed for so long.

      100%

Every president from the 1940’s to the 2010’s crawled fascism incrementally so Donald’s fascism could walk.

It’s money that went right into the pockets of cronies while babies were butchered by the same “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” that was allegedly there to shield them from Israeli bullets.

Saw this comment and couldn’t resist the urge to figure out just how much 60 million USD actually is in this context.

Relative to the revenue of the US gov:t 2024 (~5tln USD) and the US annual minimum wage (~15k usd) roughly two dimes so… yeah basically nothing.

Next question, how much can the US gov:t achieve with basically nothing?

Meal cost estimates at 0.5$ per, 3 meals per day = 1.5$ or 40mln days worth of food. Gaza population this year ~824k up from ~800k last year (worldpopulationreview) which puts us at ~48 days of food for the entire Gazan population.

So, what’s the lesson learned here?

Even Trump is willing to give two dimes of somebody elses money to a starving person… or maybe that the gov:t can achieve a fair bit with almost nothing. You decide :)

The only difference between Trump and Harris on Gaza has been that blueMAGA democrats will actually acknowledge what’s going on in Gaza when Trump is doing it, rather than engaging in endless genocide denial and apologia like they did when it was their team doing it.

Sometimes. Really depends on who they’re talking to.

            No.

Trump is just meaner and doesn’t give speeches pretending to be a good person. On Israel he and Biden are exactly the same. (And Obama, and Bush, and Clinton, etc. etc. etc.)

Incorrect, he is in fact worse than Biden on that issue.

But EVEN IF they were the same on Gaza, which they are not, the fact that you are completely okay with all the other atrocities that Trump is doing is extremely telling. I see zero reason to believe you give a single fuck about Palestinians and are just trying to gaslight yourself into denial about your supporting a pedophile, rapist, and Nazi.

Sure, and I’m glad that makes you feel better, but when both options are don’t do the thing its doesn’t really matter that one is worse does it? Both are unacceptable, and a real solution needs to be created.

Doesn’t matter which one was worse? What’s a few more dead Palestinians, eh?

Yes, Harris and Biden were/are absolute shit. Without being able to see into an alternate universe, I’m pretty sure there’s more people dead than would have been under what was the already terrible status quo. The current regime is making things worse than it already was, which is a hard bar to clear. It’s suffering all around, in Gaza and in the US, and across the poverty stricken areas supported by USAID.

One candidate was going to allow the genocide to continue.

One candidate was going to allow the genocide to continue, while dismantling American democracy.

Pure tankie derangement to think that Trumps policies are not a million times worse.

Immediately going ad hominem doesn’t speak well to your point-of-view.

Progressives were right. Trump has not been worse than Kamala or Biden.

What happened to the outrageous Democrat claims of Trump nuking Gaza again? Trump has been doing the same thing Biden has.

Let’s ignore the destruction of USAID and the triggering of a Hispanic genocide in the US.

Just continue to do what leftists do best. All talk and all arguments, but when it actually matters, leftists flake out.

I hate MAGA with a passion but I respect that they at least show up. Can’t say the same for leftists.
